Mixing Trends
Happy Friday Eve! Today I am going a little trend crazy! I decided to step out of my comfort zone and do a little mixing. I paired a military jacket with a red and black, plaid top, which oddly I kind of love how the colors complement each other. Then I took a trend I have been seeing a lot of on Pinterest and belted my jacket around the waist. This definitely turned the top and jacket from grunge to classy instantly, oh and the peeking through statement necklace didn’t hurt either. Then to mix this look up even more I did some pattern mixing by pairing my plaid shirt with a studded, leopard loafer. Something about plaid and leopard just makes me smile! Although this look is a little different and it may look like trends threw up on me (bad visual?) I am kind of digging it! So next time your in your closet take a little risk and do some mixing, ya never know what master piece you may create! <3

Tulle’n Around
Yay!!! I am SUPER excited today because I am collabing with the ever so stunning Thida of TeeKay and on one of my favorite trends right now, tulle skirts! Thida is a Cali girl with the most amazing style and to make it even better she is probably the sweetest girl I have ever met! Pretty much every word out of her mouth makes you smile! If you haven’t checked her out, do yourself a favor and do so!! Thida did more of a dressy look with her white tulle skirt (that she made by the way!!) and silver sequin top. Gorg! For my look, I took this super cute Windsor tulle skirt a little more casual. I paired it with a cream, beaded top from Sophie and Trey and to give it more of a laid back feel I threw on a cropped jean jacket. Since it’s been a little cool out I finished this look with some black tights and black booties. <3

Classy Gold
Oh Monday we meet again… I got this fabulous blazer for Christmas and I can’t get enough of it! The combination of the brown and black with a touch of gold is so amazing! Oh, and the sleeves are leather so of course I am going to be obsessed! I thought I would try to bring out the subtle gold in the jacket with a gold coated sweater. Because who doesn’t want more gold?! I paired it with a black skinny and a classic brown heel that I got from Charlotte Russe. These heels are so classic and go with almost any outfit! For a subtle pop of color I finished this look with my emerald Michael Kors bag. <3

Sunny Florals
Hope you’re having a great Sunday Funday! The weather is absolutely GORGEOUS today (not to brag)! The sun is shinning with not one cloud in the sky! Thought I would go fun and casual on this beautiful day with this super cute floral sweater with a cut out shoulder. It was perfect for today since it’s light weight but still warm enough for the chilly breeze. It’s hard to tell by the pictures but it is also has a gold, metallic sheen to it! I paired it with a cute hat and a great over the knee boot that I got from Francesca’s a few years ago. This outfit is nice, simple, and comfy! Perfect for a laid back Sunday! <3

Flirty Leopard
I hope everyone is enjoying their Saturday! This Florida weather has been soooo crazy! Yesterday it was absolutely freezing and today it is back in the 70s! But hey, I guess I can’t complain! I got this adorable sweater as a Christmas gift and absolutely love the distressed leopard look. I like how it is more subtle and not super busy. I dressed this casual sweater up a bit by pairing it with a flirty skater skirt and a gold statement necklace. These heels… I am seriously in love! When I saw them on Forever 21’s website I knew I had to have them! I love how they are considered a bootie but with the open front they will be perfect all year long! To make it even better I bought these during Forever 21’s 50% off boot sale so they were only $15!! I may or may not go into a slight depression when all these amazing sales end soon… but at least my wallet will be happy. To finish this look, I opted for a red clutch and red lip for a nice pop of color. <3

Winter Essentials
Mint & Leather
I hope everyone had a wonderful New Year! Today I am keeping it super casual in this fun BCBGeneration mint sweater. As you all know, I love anything leather so when I saw this sweater in such a gorgeous color plus leather sleeves I was sold! I paired it with simple black jeans that I found at Forever 21 for $10 (don’t you love that!). I bought these boots (which are the most comfortable boots ever!) from Forever 21 a few years ago and I have basically lived in them every Winter since. To dress it up a tad, I finished this look with a statement necklace and a studded clutch. <3

New Year’s Eve
Happy New Year’s Eve!! I absolutely LOVE New Year’s Eve, for the obvious reason of getting all dressed up in sparkly things! I am super excited to be collaborating with the stunning Shaheen of lowstoluxe! She is absolutely fabulous and is the master of mixing high end with affordable! You definitely need to check her out! We both had the same idea with going with the pencil skirt and crop top rather then the traditional dress. For my outfit, I got this faux leather skirt and sequin crop top during Express’ annual 50% off holiday sale! For a little bit of warmth, since I don’t need much in Florida, I found this white fur vest at Charming Charlie, which also gives it some pizazz! To top it off I added some silver jewelry and my favorite strappy heels. Hope everyone has a wonderful and safe New Year and don’t forget to check out Shaheen’s blog for outfit details! <3

Winter Florals
Happy Monday!! This floral skirt was one of my favorite finds this summer! I have talked about bringing summer pieces into fall and winter. I thought my winter needed a little pick me up, and this skirt did just that! I have been loving this new trend of pairing an untucked top over a skater skirt. I thought I would give it a try with a comfy sweater to balance out the bright florals. To add some warmth to this look, I threw on my amazingly comfortable Jessica Simpson boots with a cream knee sock. To top it off, I finished this outfit with a gold and pearl statement necklace. <3
