Ok, so I have been totally obsessing over skater skirts lately. You can seriously throw on any top with them and you have a perfect outfit! Since our fall down here in Florida is still pretty warm I paired this amazing cheetah skirt with a cute off white crop top. I picked up both of these pieces from my favorite boutique Sophie and Trey. I slipped on a pair of black Target booties (also seen here) to give it more of fall feel, but still keeping it cool in this warm weather!
I could go on for days on why I am so obsessed with fall fashion! It’s that one time of the year you can throw on fur and feel super chic or get away with wearing sexy leather pants. I am also loving all this plaid that is everywhere this year and the beautiful emerald color! <3
Leather and lace… a combination that never goes out of style! I found this to die for lace top at TJ Maxx and I instantly thought of this Forever 21 leather, skater skirt I got for $18 (yes you heard me correctly) and my vision didn’t disappoint! I love the classiness and simplicity of the black and white color pallet. I am also loving the silver jewelry, rather then my normal gold to complement the silver studs on these amazing Vince Camuto booties! I found these booties for a steal at my favorite local boutique, Sophie and Trey, also where I got my Chanel inspired quilted bag. Pairing this look with a classic red lip was the perfect finishing touch! <3
I bought these oxblood coated jeans last year at H&M and could not wait to take them back out for fall! The oxblood trend really became hot last year and I am so glad it stuck around! The color is so classy and it is so easy to dress up or down! Trust me, this is not the last time you’ll see them! ;) I paired them with this cream sweater that has a fun detail on the shoulder. I found these cheetah booties at Marshalls and could not resist them! I actually did a jump, dive, and roll towards them to tell you the truth! I seriously have a problem with buying anything cheetah print… And with a price tag of $24.99?! Lets just say it was a great day. Anywho.. this Michael Kors bag is definitely my go to. I have had it for years and it goes with pretty much every outfit! I hope everyone has a fabulous Tuesday! <3
Happy Monday! Being in Florida, our Fall weather never wants to make up it’s mind! It will be cool one day (that is in the low 70’s for us Floridians) and scorching the next. This black, pleated, chiffon maxi skirt was nice and cool for a warm, breezy day. I paired it with light pink cropped button down and tied it in the front. I have been wearing a lot of crop top high waisted combos lately! Any way you do it, maxi skirt, pencil skirt, skater skirt, it just looks instantly chic! <3
For a part of my birthday weekend, my family and I drove up to one of my favorite cities, St Augustine. This city has a little bit of everything, history, great food, and most importantly shopping! I couldn’t pass up snapping a few outfit pictures with this beautiful scenery as my back drop! I picked a comfy tee with leather sleeve details, boyfriend jeans, booties (perfect for walking), and a cute felt hat just to give it a little edge. I am seriously loving this shirt that I snagged from a local boutique. The leather detail at the bottom of the sleeves is really different (from the usual elbow patch) and right on trend for fall! I love to use stripes as a blank canvas and can’t wait to mix it up with different accessories like scarves and necklaces. I found this fabulous emerald handbag from my local TJ Maxx. It gives any neutral outfit a nice pop of color! Hope everyone is having a fantastic weekend! <3
Ahh! My first blog post! I thought this day would never come! I have been reading fashion blogs for years and always dreamt one day I would have my own! :) A little bit about me…My name is Shannon and I’m a born and raised Florida girl living in a small town outside of Orlando. I am married to my high school sweet heart who is the love of my life, biggest supporter, and photographer ;) I work as a medical sonographer and have a love for the human body (maybe that’s why I love dressing it so much?). I am a mom to a crazy Australian Shepard mix (and when I say crazy, I really mean psycho), and the most handsome kitty! If you follow me on instagram you will get to know them well! :) Anyways, enough of me blabbing lets get to the outfit details! I absolutely adore this dress! I wore it out to celebrate my birthday (which I forgot to mention is today!! My blog and me have the same birthday :)) It is such a fun dress with the flirty cut outs and hint of tulle under the skirt, which makes it such a perfect party dress! Not to mention the floral print is super cute! Pair it with a classic pump and gold clutch and you got yourself the perfect birthday outfit! I hope you all like my first blog post and would love to see you come back and subscribe! <3
