Happy Thursday loves! It has been a busy week trying to come back to reality and having lots of appointments this week! I cannot believe it’s already almost the weekend! We had the most amazing vacation in North Carolina last week! Something about being in the mountains is so relaxing and the weather was ah-mazing! It was cool enough we had to wear jackets in the morning and it was such a nice change for this super hot Florida weather! This pregnant mama did not want to leave the cool weather! While we were on vacation we decided to take advantage of the gorgeous scenery and snap some maternity pictures! We woke up early one day and headed to the gorgeous Looking Glass Falls! I rented this to die for Reclamation dress which went perfect with the dreamy background! We were lucky to have the waterfall to ourselves before it got busy and Sawyer even cooperated for some for photos (after being promised a donut of course haha!) I cannot believe in just over two months well be a family of 4! We can’t wait to meet you Baby J #2! <3

Baby J #2 Is a…
Happy Monday! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! Sorry to keep you all hanging for so long about Baby J #2’s gender, but it finally feels good to let everyone know we are having another sweet BOY! I always knew I was destined to be a boy mom and I am so excited for Sawyer to have a built in best friend! We have actually known we are having another boy since around 12 weeks and had a mini gender reveal with family but the pictures all came out really blurry when we did the balloon pop. Then life happened on doing a redo shoot and I decided to just wait to get double confirmation from the ultrasound and he wasn’t shy showing us he was all boy haha! We actually decided on a name already too, which is crazy we found one so quick since boy names are SO HARD to me! The name was actually not even on our list with Sawyer either but I have always loved the name! Griffin thought of a middle name to go with it and we both just thought hearing the two names together were perfect! We won’t be announcing it until he’s born (just in case we have a last minute change haha) but we can’t wait for everyone to hear it! We are over the moon to add another sweet baby boy to our family!! I hope you all have a wonderful start to your week! <3
1st Trimester Bumpdate
Happy Thursday! This week flew by and I cannot believe we are almost to the weekend! I am excited to share with you all my first trimester bump date! Let me just start by saying this pregnancy has been completely 180, opposite than Sawyer’s! Sawyer’s pregnancy was a unicorn pregnancy and besides some food aversions I felt amazing up until I delivered! Well Baby J #2 is already being a stinker haha! Around about 5 weeks I got hit with some pretty bad nausea that was on and off all day every day. I was lucky that I never actually threw up though (yet I was close a few times)! Also I got hit with extreme exhaustion! I don’t think I have ever been more tired in my life. Which having a toddler and being extremely tired all the time was most definitely a struggle! I keep wishing my pregnancies could have been the other way around haha! Like why couldn’t my tough pregnancy be when I was childless?!!! Some things that have helped with my nausea was just never letting my stomach go empty. If I got hungry the nausea got intense.
This time around I didn’t really get too many aversions, except for coffee. The smell of coffee in the morning definitely wanted to make me gag, but I have been drinking it again a little here and there. Also no cravings really. Just if something sounds good I need to have it haha but nothing super specific. Another horrible symptom have been headaches! I was getting one almost every 3-4 days mainly at night but luckily they have subsided but not completely. I usually get headaches around that time of the month so when I was pregnant with Sawyer I had 0 headaches and it was amazing! I was hoping it would be the same, but of course I didn’t get that lucky yet again.
As for some a good symptoms, my skin has been amazing! I broke out so bad with Sawyer so it has been nice to actually have one good thing come from this pregnancy so far (besides the baby being healthy!)! I honestly don’t think I have gotten a pimple since I found out I was pregnant, which is crazy for my acne prone skin!
How I am feeling now at 16 weeks (today!)? The nausea is just now FINALLY starting to subside! I still will get some waves here and there but not too bad. I also am starting to get a little energy back, but definitely still tired! I am just waiting for that second trimester energy everyone keeps talking about haha! I am just hoping the hard part is now behind me and everything will be a lot smoother from here on out! I always joked after Sawyer’s pregnancy I don’t think I’ll get that lucky twice to have such an easy pregnancy and I guess I was right haha! Although this one has been rough on me I wouldn’t change it for the world since I know my body is doing amazing things in creating our perfect little baby that we are so excited to meet come October! Mama’s of multiple babies, were your pregnancies different or similar?! I would love to know! I hope you all have a great weekend! <3
Surprise!
Happy Monday babes! I hope you all had an amazing weekend! Surprise! We’re so excited to announce baby J #2 is on the way! We could not be more excited to add another addition to our family come October! We also cannot wait to see Sawyer become a big brother! I think he has mixed feelings on becoming a big brother haha! One minute he’s kissing and rubbing my stomach, the next I ask him about baby and he says nooooooo and runs away hahaha!! This has been the hardest secret to keep since the bump popped out A LOT earlier this time and I have also been SO nauseous and tired! Hence why I have been a lot more MIA lately. I am finally starting to feel a little better, but still getting some waves of nausea and still super tired! I am hoping in the next couple of weeks I will get some energy back, please!! We also already know the gender and will hopefully be announcing that soon! What are yall’s guesses?! I hope you all have wonderful start to your week! <3
Sawyer’s Rockin’ First Birthday
Happy Friday Eve ya’ll! We had the most amazing time Sunday celebrating Sawyer’s first birthday! I did so much planning and crafting and it was so fun to see it finally come together! We did a rock and roll theme since Sawyer is obsessed with the guitar and music. My favorite part was definitely the dessert table with the most amazing cake from Nat Just Cakes and cookies by A Peace of Cake by Taryn. They are both local ladies that bake out of their homes and I can’t believe how talented they are! We also set up a photo booth with lots of fun props! A big guest favorite (and not just by the kids) was the tattoo station. I got a bunch of temporary tattoos and everyone had the best time getting inked! Some even went a little crazy ha! As for the guest book I had everyone sign some records for a keepsake. I was so happy how everything turned out and everyone, including Sawyer if you can’t tell by his picture, had a great time! I hope you all have a wonderful weekend! <3
The Big One
Happy Friday loves! Today is Sawyer’s first birthday and I can’t hardly believe it! This was the fastest year but best year ever! This little guy has brought us so much joy and has taught us so much! Motherhood is not easy but it has been the best thing I have ever done and this little boy makes me so dang proud to be his mama! He has taught me to love in ways I didn’t even know existed and I cannot wait to continue to watch him grow and see his fun little personality get stronger and stronger. I just love him so much! Happy first birthday Sawyer! We are at Disney today celebrating and then next weekend is his big party that is Rock n’ Roll themed hence the theme of his pictures! Cannot wait to celebrate this little guy! I hope you all have a wonder weekend! <3
Strollin’ Around Disney
This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of UPPAbaby. All opinions are 100% mine.
Happy Thursday loves! Thank goodness it is almost the weekend! So you all know how much we love our theme parks and love bringing Sawyer with us to enjoy them! When we started going to the parks a lot I knew I wanted to invest in an awesome compact stroller. I wanted something that was small, easy to fold up, light, and easy to maneuver. You all know how much I love our UPPAbaby VISTA (you can see my review here) so when I saw that UPPAbaby also had a compact foldable stroller, the MINU, I knew it would be just as amazing! We have gone to Disney multiple times and Universal with our MINU and I could not be happier with this stroller! It rides so smooth because of the all wheel suspension just like their larger strollers and Sawyer loves it as well! He naps so good in this stroller because of the muti position incline. It also has the UV pull down shield for extra sun protection! The basket at the bottom is nice and large and fits our baby bag perfectly along with a small cooler. The one foot break is super easy! Also something most people wouldn’t think of on a stroller but it doesn’t have the bar going across the back wheels like most compact strollers have. We had another compact stroller we used before this one that had the break in the middle of the wheels and Griffin being 6’3 kicked it constantly! This stroller he can push very comfortably! Not to mention this stroller is beautiful and has a full grain leather handle and comes in a few different colors! We got the Jake and I love the black frame with the mélange fabric!
As for the fold, it is super easy! I can even do it while holding Sawyer! All you do is lock the brake, push the lever over with your thumb that is in the middle of the handle, squeeze the button and push the handle down. Super simple! Then there is a shoulder strap at the bottom so you can carry the stroller on your shoulder making it so perfect for travel. The MINU folded up will even fit in most overhead compartments on an airplane. Another amazing thing about this stroller is that it is compatible with our MESA carseat and a few other brands as well with the adapters. All you do it take off the fabric and click on the adapters and boom it becomes a travel system on the go! It also has a From Birth Kit where you can attach a Bassinet-like solution. We also have the travel bag that makes it super easy to store and travel with since you can wear it as a backpack! Overall we are super happy with UPPAbaby MINU for a theme park stroller and travel stroller! We love how compatible the stroller is and we can wait to use it on our first trip next month! <3
Slay All Day
Happy Thursday babes! Today is our Friday so I cannot wait to get this weekend started! I am coming at you with some more adorable Sawyer pumpkin Patch pictures because they were too cute not to share! I actually made his romper on my cricut and I love how it came out! I have always been a huge Halloween fan (nothing better than a classic horror movie!) so when I saw a similar shirt I knew I needed to make it into a romper for Sawyer for Halloween! I found the romper for under $11 on Amazon and his little leather moccs for under $14 on Amazon as well! Such a steal! I hope you all have an awesome weekend! <3
Little Pumpkin
Happy Monday babes! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! Mine went by way too fast! Saturday I went to one of my best friend’s bridal shower and then Sunday we took Sawyer to the pumpkin patch and had way too much! My parents, Griffin’s parents and grandma, and my brother’s family all went so it was definitely a fun family outing! How stinking cute is he in his little corduroy overalls?! The weather was beautiful and we even got to take him on his first hay ride! I hope you all have a wonderful start to your week! <3
Family Pictures 2019
Happy Monday friends! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! Our’s was pretty uneventful, which was kind of nice! Last weekend we took some family pictures and I just love how they came out! So sorry in advance for the major oversharing haha! My friend was kind of enough to snap the ones of the whole family for us and then ones with just us and Sawyer we took of each other. I have taken so many pictures for clients at this spot that I couldn’t wait to finally snap some of my own family here now that we are a family of 3! We got a beautiful sunset too! This pleated mustard dress was perfect and had just the perfect amount of flow. I always suggest maxi dresses to clients for their pictures because they give them so much more movement! I hope you all have a wonderful start to your week! <3
