Happy Hump Day everyone! So today my baby is 6 months old and I CANNOT believe he is a 1/2 year!! I feel like it was just the other day I was in the hospital holding him for the first time and slightly freaking out that we were parents! So much has changed in the past 6 months, but we wouldn’t want it any other way! Sawyer has brought us so much joy and we cannot get enough of him! His little personality gets bigger and bigger each day and his big smiles melt me! He full on belly laughs, can sit up on his own, falls asleep on his own, army crawls, rolls everywhere, and will be starting solids soon, which I am excited and terrified for haha! I wanted to do something fun for his 1/2 birthday so I set up this little photoshoot at the beach last weekend. We did a shark theme since his 1/2 birthday happens to be during Shark Week! Since he hasn’t started solids yet I wanted his cake to not have much sugar in it so I used a recipe from Pinterest here, which uses oat flour and mostly fruit. As for the icing I made a drizzle with cream cheese, apple juice, and natural food coloring. He really liked the icing but didn’t even try the cake before getting mad that he was super messy haha! We have loved every second of these 6 months with our little guy and I cannot wait to watch him grow even more! Love you to pieces Sawyer Grey! <3

Checkers
Happy Friday eve babes! Can I get an Amen for it almost being the weekend?! So today my little guy is joining me for a little mommy and me outfit! Who says mommy and me outfits can only be with little girls?! I swear I will match him until he is too embarrassed to go into public with me! haha! Can you even handle those little Vans?! They are just so cute so naturally I had to get a pair so we can match! I paired his little Vans with a black and white Nirvana tee and threw on his camo shorts. As for his accessories he’s wearing his favorite trucker hat! We LOVE George Hat’s, I mean tiny baby hats, how can you resist! As for me I threw on a camo tee (that I actually stole from Griffin’s closet) and paired it with an acid wash black skirt. I finished the look with a black hat and sunnies. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend! <3
Why I Chose to Give My Baby a Probiotic: A Honest Review of Evivo
This post is sponsored by Evivo, all opinions are 100% my own
Happy Thursday everyone! We are in the home stretch to the weekend! Today I am talking all about baby gut health and why I chose to give Sawyer a probiotic. If you follow me on stories I have mentioned multiple times Sawyer is a VERY fussy baby! We tried gas drops, putting him to bed earlier, and even little straws you stick up their rear end to relieve gas (that was fun!). I knew he suffered from gas because he had bad toots constantly and my doctor recommend I try him on a probiotic. I found some over the counter ones, but they didn’t seem to be doing much so I did a little research and came across Evivo. Evivo is the ONLY clinically proven probiotic. Once I started doing more research on Evivo I found out that 9 out of 10 babies are lacking B. Infantis which is a good bacteria that helps protect babies gut by helping digest nutrients in breast milk and reduce bad bacteria. In fact, Evivo is clinically proven to reduce 80% of bad bacteria in a baby’s gut which has SO many health benefits! By restoring your baby’s gut in their first 6 months of life it can reduce their risks of colic, eczema, allergies, diabetes, and obesity!
They make it so easy to give to your baby as well! When you get the starter kit it comes with a month supply in individual packets, a small mixing cup, and syringe. Then you mix one of the packets once a day with about 5ml of breast milk (Evivo is only clinically proven for breast milk but has heard success stories with formula) in the cup, and then suck the breast milk mixture into the syringe and then give it to baby. Sawyer actually loves it too and gobbles it right up each time! Just a few tips that I have found to make the process easier: Use warm breast milk (it dissolves better and Sawyer likes it better warm) and feed baby before giving them Evivo. While feeding use a Haakaa pump (or other breast milk catcher) on opposite breast while feeding to catch extra let down and use that for the mixture after baby is fed. That way there is no pumping involved! Because this mama hates pumping haha!
Now that you know all the amazing benefits of Evivo, how did it benefit Sawyer? Well his toots are finally under control ya’ll haha! His bowel movements have become super regular (almost like clock work) and his dry skin he had before is completely gone! The best part is that he has almost doubled his feeding time! Sawyer is not a very good eater and is less than 10% on the growth chart and my doctor wanted me to start giving him a formula bottle a day to have him gain some weight and he absolutely refuses to take formula. So the fact that it has helped his tummy so much that he is eating more is huge for us! Also not to mention all the benefits it is giving him for his future! I highly recommend Evivo if you are looking to help with your baby’s gut health and overall health! I hope you all have a fabulous weekend! <3
Sawyer’s Newborn Pictures
Happy Friday Eve loves! Who is ready for the weekend?! Definitely this girl! This cold has been killing me! It has been lingering around, but I am finally feeling better and ready to get out of the house this weekend! I am excited to FINALLY be sharing Sawyer’s newborn pictures! I had one of my friends that used to do photography come over and take them, but I edited them and then we took the posed newborn pictures ourself so it took me awhile to edit them all with a newborn! Also I picked WAY too many to edit haha! The culling process is so much harder when it is your own baby let me tell you! You love every single picture haha! So sorry for the major over sharing, but I just love these pictures so much! It’s crazy how little he is in these pictures too! He has changed so much already! I hope you all have a wonderful weekend! <3
Sawyer Grey’s Birth Story
Happy Thursday babes! All I have to say is I am so ready for the weekend! So I FINALLY sat down to write the story of the most amazing (and tiring) day of my life, when Sawyer was born! I have been wanting to write this down for you and myself before I forget all the small details! And let me tell you there were a lot of details since I had such a long labor! About 27 hours to be exact! I am sorry but this might be one of my longest posts to date, but I will try to keep it as short as possible haha! Here we go!
What to Pack in your Hospital Bag
Happy Hump Day loves! Usually I am excited to get closer to the weekend but today is the last day of Griffin’s paternity leave so I am less than thrilled about it to say the least haha! It has been so nice having him off the past two weeks and we have definitely made a good team so pray for me when it is just me and baby Sawyer to fend for ourselves haha! So today I am talking about what I packed in my hospital bag. I did a lot of research on this and tried to not over pack too much and I think I packed the perfect amount! Griffin and I shared a big bag and then I packed Sawyer’s baby bag for him. Also notice big sister really wanted to help pack ;p
Mom’s Bag:
2 sets of button up PJ’s (perfect for nursing)
Delivery Gown (loved this one! Buttons in the back making it perfect if you get an epidural)
Robe (I actually ended up not wearing this, but planned on wearing it for pictures)
Going home outfit (something loose and comfortable)
Make up and curling iron/straightener (if you plan on doing hospital pictures)
Toiletries (own shampoo, face wash, body wash, etc)
Flip Flops (for the shower)
Underwear (I recommend black (won’t show stains) briefs like these)
Chapstick
Nipple Butter (a must if planning to nurse!)
Camera, Laptop, Chargers
Snacks
Dad’s Bag:
2-4 changes of clothes
PJ’s
Underwear
Toiletries
Flip Flops
Extra Blanket
Baby’s Bag:
Going home outfit
3 PJ’s in different sizes (I brought preemie, Newborn, 0-3 months, he ended up in the preemie!)

He’s Here!
He’s Here! Sawyer Grey Jenkins came into our lives January 31st at 5:56am weighing 6 pounds 10 ounces and 19.75 inches of pure cuteness! This little man has completely stolen our hearts! It is so crazy how you can love a little human you just met so much! I will be taking this week off to enjoy new mommy life, but will be back soon to share some more maternity looks and of course more about Sawyer’s birth, new mommy life, etc! I hope you all have a wonderful week! <3
Beach Maternity
Happy Thursday babes! Only one more day until the weekend and last week (hopefully) of my pregnancy! So I told you all I would share more from my beach maternity shoot, so here it is! I knew I wanted to do a more intimate shoot with just Griffin and I once I got farther along on the beach so a week after Christmas Griffin and I woke up super early to catch the sunrise. Although, nature had other plans and it was the foggiest morning ever! I was a little upset at first but we just ran with the more moodier look of the photos. I love this shoot since it shows you all more of our creative photographer side that we love. The few shots Griffin are in we actually took with the camera propped up on a box because we forgot our tripod haha! I hope you all love this shoot as much as I do! Ps I am trying to blog up until baby comes so if you see a silence you know he must have made his arrival haha! I will keep my Instagram updated though! I hope you all have a fabulous weekend and t-minus one week, 2 days until my due date! <3

Happy Hump Day babes! Sorry I have been MIA. I planned on posting Monday but I ended up getting a horrible ear infection/TMJ and decided to take the day off. I seriously have never felt so much pain in my life! Luckily after some antibiotics and jaw messages I am feeling much better! So today I am super excited to be sharing some of my must have baby registry check list! I did soooooo much research when putting together my baby registry between online reviews and from mom friends and readers so I thought I would share the final product! I have majority of these items and plan on doing reviews of some of the bigger ticked ones once I put them to good use to let you know if they are worth the investment. Did you have any must haves for your baby registry!? Let me know if I missed any! I hope you all have a wonderful Wednesday! <3
Third Trimester Bump Update
Happy hump day! So now that I am nearing the end of my pregnancy I thought it was a good time to update you with my last bump update! Ps I will be sharing more from the shoot above maybe next week! I wanted some shots with my bump a little bigger since in our Colorado maternity pictures I was only 28 weeks, and I really wanted some intimate ones shot with just Griffin and I and no photographer and I am in love with how they came out, even though it was soooo foggy! Anyways, I have been so incredibly lucky to have had such an easy pregnancy, honestly it has been so easy I am scared I’m going to have a hard delivery or the baby will never sleep haha! Like I can’t luck out in all the departments! But I’m praying I can ha! I really have had no pregnancy symptoms since my food aversions in my first trimester, except I think I get a really mild case of acid reflux after eating sometimes. TMI but sometimes I’ll have a small burp and my food comes back up a little or if I am super full I feel like it is going to come back up when I bend over. That is only sometimes though. The peeing has become a little more frequent, but not as bad as I thought it would be. Except sometimes he’ll get right on my bladder and use it as a bunching bag and it almost hurts like I am having bladder spasms! Oh the joys! Also at my 36 week doctor apt she told me the baby has already fully dropped (like so low she said my cervix is behind his head!) which she said is awesome because he is ready to go! I was not dilated at all so I am curious to see if I will be at my next appointment on Friday (which I will be one day shy of 38 weeks).
How am I feeling?
Like I said above pretty dang good considering! I have definitely been a LOT more tired these past few weeks, but I have been so fortunate that I am still sleeping well. Although waking up in the mornings have been hard since I am so tired. Also I have been getting a bit of lower back pain when I stand for too long.
What am I Craving?
Still all the sweets! Omg I want cookies 24/7 ya’ll! Like I just think about them through out the day! Haha!
Food Aversions?
I haven’t had any since my first trimester, except for I am still not willing to eating straight avocado haha. I had a few bites of guacamole the other day though, baby steps!
How is Baby J?
He is still doing great! He moves like crazy all the time, I haven’t even had to worry about kick counts since he is always so active. He also gets the hiccups a TON! They have subsided a bit the past few weeks but he will still get them here in there. One of my friends said to stock up on gripe water since if he gets them a lot now he probably will get them after he is born and the gripe water makes them go away instantly! Only a few more weeks and I get to see his adorable face! I cannot wait!!
After the weekend I will be 38 weeks and 2 days and I am going to start doing all the things to kick start labor. I don’t mind going all the way to 40 weeks, but I really do not want to go past since Griffin was a pretty big baby and they told me it can be hereditary haha. I was a tad on the big side too. I have already been eating dates (So many people swear by them for making your labor shorter) and I have my raspberry tea ready to go and my birthing ball. If you have anymore tips on inducing labor, I would love to hear! I hope you all have an awesome day! <3
