Holiday Vacation

Happy Thursday babes! The weekend is almost here!! I know we are all in holiday/winter mode but hey who doesn’t love a good holiday vacation?! As you all know I just got back from a cruise to the Bahamas and it was so amazing to get away and disconnect for awhile! The one brand that I always associate vacation with has got to be Lilly Pulitzer and this drop waist scuba dress has vacation written all over it! The bright bold prints are just too fun and the thick scuba fabric makes it extra flirty! Also the zipper front detailing makes this dress super unique! I feel like you can’t have a good vacation look with out some fabulous sunnies so I paired my dress with my over sized Karen Walker number ones. Holiday Look Book

Happy Tuesday loves! I hope you all are having a great start to your week!! Today I am super excited to be teaming up with 7 other amazing bloggers to bring you a Holiday Look Book just in time for all those Holiday parties! All you have to do is click on their picture to see their full look and post! For my Holiday look, I went with a vintage beaded and sequin top, because of course the more sparkle the better! I scored this beauty at my favorite local vintage shop and I couldn’t resist it with the Holidays approaching! I paired it with some leather pants to give this look more of a playful, but I am here to party vibe! ;) I had to throw in some red, so I finished this look with a bold red lip and clutch! Getting Flashy

TGIF and happy first day of August! I cannot believe it is August already! This year is totally flying! So this look is my last look from New Orleans and it’s what I wore on our last night there. We ate at an amazing restaurant called Cafe Amelie and sat in their beautiful courtyard. Also, they had the best shrimp and grits I have ever had! I mean seriously I could live off just eating it the rest of my life and be totally happy! For my outfit, I wore this beautiful Forever 21 maxi. I absolutely love the low back and side cut outs. Funny story about this dress, when I saw it I fell in love, but I looked at the price tag (remember we are in Forever 21 here) and it said $399.99. My friend and I looked at each other like um what?! So I still tried it on praying it was a mistake and it wasn’t some special collab with Versace or something! :p So I got to the register and the cashier just laughed and said oh ya that’s definitely a mistake because it rang up for $25!! Yes I said it! This dress is $25! Mind blown! I accessorized with some Flash Tattoos to make this look a little more edgy. Warning: while wearing Flash Tattoos in public you may get many compliments on the glitter/jewels/necklace down your back. ;) I hope everyone has a fabulous weekend! <3

Cool & Colorful

Happy almost Friday!! So today I have another casual New Orleans outfit. I wore this while hitting all the super cute boutiques and shops! I found this amazing multi colored off the shoulder top at a local boutique. It was one of those I have to have it moments right when I laid eyes on it! I paired it with some black cut offs to keep it nice and cool and casual. I threw on some gold sandals for some spice and accessorized with this adorable monogrammed Grateful Bags clutch, which also comes with a strap so it can turn into a mini crossbody bag, seriously so cute! T-G to the I-F!!! We have made it through another week!! So if you haven’t noticed I have been slightly obsessed with lace lately! But I mean, how could you resist this top?! The lace on lace and the off the shoulder sleeves are just so dreamy! I paired it with some cropped distressed denim that I got on sale (well of course) from American Eagle. I think these might be my new favorite jeans! They fit perfect (ps I went a size up so they wouldn’t be super tight) and they have the perfect amount of distress! I accessorized with the absolute cutest floral clutch from DDSLLGirls, which I know will be my new go to clutch for Summer! The mix of the floral fabric and leather is divine! I finished this look with a coin head band, layered necklace, and bangles. I hope everyone has an awesome weekend!
