Happy Friday eve ya’ll and the Friday before Halloween! I am excited Halloween is on a Saturday this year even if we aren’t doing anything crazy! We are going to a trunk or treat at a Farm tomorrow and then I am having a little family party on Saturday with a bunch of fun Halloween foods! We may trick or treat to a few neighbors that we know too. It should be fun! I had the hardest time deciding on our family Halloween costume this year since I wanted something relatively easy. We decided on Mario, Luigi and Princess Peach! Griffin already had the overalls from a previous costume so all we needed for him was a tee and hat. I couldn’t find a small enough Mario hat for Sawyer so I just ordered them both hats from Amazon and ironed on the Mario and Luigi symbols that I made with my cricut. I found Sawyer’s little overalls from Old Navy and tee from Amazon. I also got my dress from Amazon. All and all a super easy, minimal effort costume that came out pretty cute! I hope you all have a happy Halloween! <3

Beauty and the Beast
Happy Hump Day babes! Only 3 days until Halloween! Today I have another DIY costume to do with your little one. Today Sawyer and I are dressing up as Belle and the Beast! Sawyer’s beast costume is actually a hand me down from my nephew (my niece and him were Beauty and the Beast for her birthday pictures, so cute!) and it fits Sawyer perfectly ha! How stinking cute is that little hood with the horns?! The yellow dress I am wearing is a maxi dress that I wore for our family pictures last year. I just did my hair like Belle with a top bun and added a pearl clip and then I finished the look with some red lips. Super simple! I hope you all have a great Wednesday! <3
Witchy
Happy Monday babes! Can you believe it’s officially Halloween week!? Seriously where did this year go?! We are going to blink and Christmas will be here! Speaking of! Do you guys decorate for Christmas after Halloween or Thanksgiving? I have been debating this year! I use to be anti decorating early but I think 2020 needs some extra Holiday cheer!! Sawyer will be joining me on the blog all this week for some Halloween fun and I am so excited! How cute is my little Son of a Witch?! haha! I made this shirt on my Cricut and it came out so stinking cute! I had to dress the part and dressed up in some witchy gear I had in my closet. We threw on our matching Dr Martens (can you even at those mini boots?!?) to finish our witchy look! I hope you all have a fabulous start to your week! <3
You Better Shape Up
Happy Friday Eve! T-minus a week and 2 days until Halloween!! I have always been a huge fan of Halloween and LOVE to dress up, especially now that I have a little one! I thought it would be fun to style a different last minute Halloween costume for you and your little one up until Halloween! Oh and I won’t forget to show you this year’s family Halloween costume either! You can check out last year’s here! Today we are Sandy and Danny from Grease! This was such an easy costume to throw together since we had everything already in our closets! For my Sandy Costume I just took a black body suit and paired it with my Spanx leggings, then threw an old belt on over the top. I finished with some sexy heels and red lips! As for Sawyer’s mini Danny costume, he wore his leather jacket from his rock and roll birthday pictures (good thing is was big at the time), a white tee, blue jeans, and white Converses. Slicked his hair with a little bit of water and boom mini Danny Zuko! Do any of you have fun costumes planned for Halloween?! I hope you have a great weekend! <3
Happy Halloween
Happy Halloween from the Jurassic Park crew! I am so excited for Sawyer’s first halloween! I mean how cute is my little tyranno-Sawyer Rex?! It was so hard to decide on what to be for our first family costume and then saw this idea on Pinterest and ran with it! I knew I wanted to have the wagon we would take Sawyer trick or treating in be apart of the costume and knew he would make the cutest little Dino. Also our costumes were super easy! Griffin already had everything besides the hat and I scored my shirt and shorts at Goodwill! I found Sawyer’s adorable costume from Pottery Barn. Griffin created the electric fence out of PVC pipe and then we painted it with non toxic paint. I took black poster board and made the sides of the wagon and then printed the Jurassic Park out on vinyl with my Cricut. We added the finishing touches with some free printable signs I found on Pinterest. Are any of you dressing up tonight?! I hope every one has a happy Halloween! <3
Slay All Day
Happy Thursday babes! Today is our Friday so I cannot wait to get this weekend started! I am coming at you with some more adorable Sawyer pumpkin Patch pictures because they were too cute not to share! I actually made his romper on my cricut and I love how it came out! I have always been a huge Halloween fan (nothing better than a classic horror movie!) so when I saw a similar shirt I knew I needed to make it into a romper for Sawyer for Halloween! I found the romper for under $11 on Amazon and his little leather moccs for under $14 on Amazon as well! Such a steal! I hope you all have an awesome weekend! <3
Halloween Look Back
//post//
Happy Friday Eve babes! We are almost to the weekend! Halloween has always been one of my favorite holiday’s! I basically have horror movies on repeat all of October and I just love coming up with fun costumes! This year is extra special with Sawyer and I can’t wait to see what we dress up as this year! I wanted to take a look back at some of my costumes from previous years which are all perfect last minute and DIY costumes! One of my all time favorites was definitely this dead fashionista costume! This was SO last minute and I just decided to go to Goodwill to get inspired and found this dress for $6! I decided to do some ghostly makeup and then spray painted this flower headband from my sugar skull costume and voila! Super simple costume for $6! You can’t beat that! My other favorite costume was of course last year when I was a disco ball with my bump! This was another DIY! I just found some silver sequin stretchy fabric and sewed it together to make a tube dress then accessorized with a white headband and white boots to make it super 70’s! Are you all dressing up with year?! <3
Disco Halloween
Happy Halloween loves!! How is October already over?! I seriously feel like I just put my Halloween decorations up! Thanksgiving and Christmas will be here before we know it! So since I have been feeling rather round these days, for good reasons, I thought the best thing I could do was embrace it and be a Disco Ball for Halloween! This was such a last minute costume and I only spent about $10 on it! My dress is actually DIY and I just ran to the fabric store and got a big piece of stretch sequin fabric and had my mom sew it up the back, that is literally it! Then all the other accessories were in my closet, besides the headband, which I got from the dollar store! For my make up I just did some silver eyeshadow and then used eyelash glue to add some loose silver glitter. Then topped it off with eyeliner, false eyelashes, and a metallic lip! So simple! I attempted to tease my hair to make the look a little more 70’s, but my hair is the worst when it comes to teasing and it didn’t last long haha! It’s funny when I sat down in the car Griffin was like omg you really are a disco ball because the sequins were reflecting all over the car! It was like we were in Cash Cab haha! Well I hope you all enjoyed my last minute DIY costume and I hope you all have a fabulous and safe Halloween! <3
Happy Halloween
Happy Halloween ya’ll! Halloween is my absolute favorite! Spooky stuff, getting dressed up, candy, what’s not to love?! I think I have been annoying Griffin by binge watching old scary movies all October haha! Anyway’s of course I had to do my annual Halloween post! I like to call this Ghost Goddess of the Woods ;) This was a quick and easy costume which I styled with this gorgeous velvet burnt out dress and black ankle booties. To give this look more of a goddess look I threw on a beaded necklace as a headband. Making a costume out of things I already have in my closet are my go to! I finished the look off with some dark and sultry make up and some ghostly tag alongs! I hope you all have a safe and fun Halloween! <3
Ghostly
Happy Monday and Halloween babes! I hope everyone had a fantastic weekend! Halloween has always been my favorite holiday behind Christmas! There’s just something about coming up with the perfect costume and watching Hocus Pocus on repeat that just warms my soul! Although I have to admit I was a little bit of a slacker this year in the costume department and came up with this ghoulish look last minute! I actually scored this dress at Goodwill for a whooping $6! It was also at the first Goodwill I looked at too! Not sure how I lucked out with that! Oh and the fact that it fit! Obvi it was ment to be and I kind of based off the rest of the look off of the dress. I decided to go with a ghostly/dead look and did my make with a mix of white paint and white powder to set it. Then I added a dark smokey eye, black lips, and a little black contouring, and boom! Instant creepy! I finished this look off with a black rose headband and some silver jewelry. I hope you all have an amazing All Hallows’ Eve and don’t eat too much candy! <3
