Holiday Home Tour

Rustic Christmas Tree

Happy Wednesday babes! Can you believe we are half way through the week already?! Today I am doing something a little different and doing my first home decor post! After talking about how much I love decorating for the holidays I got multiple requests on posting pictures so I decided to dedicate a post to it! Growing up I used to love helping my mom transform the house for the holidays so when we bought our home three years ago I couldn’t wait to do the same! I have always swung on the more rustic decor side so I love to bring touches of burlap, deep reds, and fresh pine into my holiday decor. It is just the epitome of cozy! Most of my decor I have accumulated over the years but about 60% of it is from Home Goods and Jo-Ann Fabrics! Just a budget friendly tip, if you get a real Christmas tree ask if you can take some of the clippings they are going to throw away! I seriously put the fresh pine all over my house, as you can see! It makes the house smell and look amazing and it is free! One last thing, I would like to brag about my husband real quick and tell you he completely built that bar cart below, even the chicken wire drawers! It is definitely my new favorite piece in the house! Do you all love decorating for the holidays?! I hope you have a wonderful Wednesday and ps sorry this post is picture heavy, you asked for pictures you got them! <3

Blogger Nation: WAYF

Black WAYF jumpsuit and fur shrug

Happy Monday babes! I hope you all had a fabulous weekend! Sorry for being MIA the end of last week! I had a hiccup in my schedule and decided to use it as an excuse to put the finishing touches on all my holiday decor and get some relaxation in before our busy weekend! We had so much to do around the house and get some more shopping in before we leave on our cruise this weekend. I swear there are never enough weeks in December but I am more than ready for our mini getaway! Anyways, I am super excited to be back with my Blogger Nation babes for our holiday series and we are starting it off with WAYF! Who doesn’t love a classic black jumpsuit?! This one is too perfect for the holiday season but can also be worn all year round! Also the deep V and sexy low criss cross back makes it perfect for a night out! To make the jumpsuit a little more winter appropriate, I paired it with a vintage shrug which also adds a little bit of glam! I accessorized with layered gold necklaces and lace up heels and of course no holiday look would be complete without a bold lip! I hope you all have a great start to your week and don’t forget to check out all of the pretty ladies’ WAYF looks below! <3

Holiday Decor

Wreath // Reindeer // Sign // Pillow // Stockings // Sleigh // Trees

Happy Hump Day and Thanksgiving Eve ya’ll! I can already taste the stuffing and pumpkin pie! Mmmm so excited! Want to know what else I am excited for?! After tomorrow it is officially the Christmas season and one of my favorite parts of Christmas is transforming my house into a winter wonderland! I feel like when it comes to holiday decor I tend to stay a little more traditional, but I love mixing a little rustic in with it! I am a sucker for anything burlap so I am dying over this cute holly and burlap wreath! Also this absolutely adorable houndstooth reindeer would be perfect next to the fireplace! I tend to go a little more fancy in the dining room and I am swooning over these silver and gold light up Christmas trees! Who else is a holiday decor fanatic?! I hope you all have an amazing Thanksgiving filled with love and full bellies! <3

Twas The Night Before Christmas

orlando, florida fashion blogger styles eshakti skirt, forever 21 top, sugarpair booties for a holiday outfit
Happy Christmas Eve loves!!! I am still in shock that Christmas is already upon us! Not ready for it to be over! Yes, I am wearing another midi skirt for my Christmas Eve look, but let’s be honest they just scream Holiday glam so they are hard to resist! Especially, when it’s as drop dead gorgeous as this one from eShakti! I mean it doesn’t get much better than a silver polka dotted midi! This amazing skirt is apart of eShakti’s Holiday collection, which if you haven’t checked out you need to because everything is to die for! And it being eshakti, it fits like a glove and has pockets! I honestly could go on all day about how much I love this skirt so I will just leave it at that! I paired this beauty with a burgundy mock turtleneck and gunmetal, crystal necklace. More sparkle the better for a Holiday look, right?! I wanted to give this look a bit of playfulness, so I finished it with my fun burgundy booties! I hope everyone has an absolutely amazing Christmas and really takes the time to enjoy it! I will be taking a break from blogging for the rest of the week to spend time with family and friends so I will  see you all on Monday! Have a magical rest of your week! <3

So today I am really excited to be sharing our Christmas photos taken by the wonderful Jennifer Creel Photography! It was nice to have my husband, Griffin, come out from behind the camera and join me in front of it for a change! ;) I just love taking pictures with him, if you couldn’t tell! This was our first year doing Christmas photos and sending out Christmas cards! Yes, I was pretty proud of myself! We are officially grownups! ;) If you are from the Orlando area, definitely check out Jennifer! She is awesome to work with! I hope everyone has a wonderful Tuesday, 2 days until Christmas!!!! <3

Black & Pearls

h&m midi skirt
Happy Monday! I hope everyone had an amazing weekend! Only 3 more days until Christmas! I have to say it doesn’t get much more classic than a black midi skirt. I think it is one of those items that everyone needs to have in their closet. As soon as you throw it on, you just feel instantly chic! With Christmas being right around the corner, I thought it would only be appropriate to go a little holiday glam with my classic midi. I went for all black and paired it with a long sleeve lace crop top. I accessorized with pearls to up the glam factor and finished this look with a red lip, because you can never do the holidays without a red lip! I hope everyone has an amazing start to their week and is almost done with their holiday shopping! <3

Happy Monday!! I hope everyone had a fabulous and restful weekend! Once December hits I just can’t get enough of Holiday looks! What I love about this one is that it is a little more subtle so you can wear it not just to a Holiday party! I scored this adorable tweed buffalo check skirt from Forever 21 and I knew it would be perfect for the cooler weather! I went for a black and white look and paired it with a basic white sweater and added some sparkle with a statement necklace. To funk it up a little, I threw on some polka dotted tights and added a pop of color with these amazing SugarPair wine booties, which are on sale for 40% off for Green Monday! Also, if you missed yesterday’s post, I have teamed up with some pretty awesome bloggers to give away $400 to Nordstrom! I reposted the widget below to enter! NOLA

I’m backkkkkkkk!!! I’ve missed ya’ll! But let me tell you how good it felt to get away for a week, AMAZING! The hubs and I had the best time in New Orleans and we probably gained about 10lbs each! I honestly think the food in New Orleans is the best food I have ever eaten in my life! So yum! Anyways, here is quick recap of our trip, I am going to try to summarize as best as possible to not overload you! ;)
First off, out hotel, AMAZING!! We stayed at the Le Pavillion Hotel, built in 1907, right outside of the French Quarter and it seriously made me feel like a Princess! I mean, look at those chandeliers!

On to more gorgeouness of NOLA
Jackson Square, with the statue of Andrew Jackson that has been up since 1856 after he helped win the Battle of New Orleans.
I just couldn’t get over all the beautiful architecture with the wrought iron. Which learning on one of our tours, the architecture is actually Spanish architecture, even though it’s in the French Quarter…
The oldest bar in America, so they claim ;) It use to be an old blacksmith shop.
What’s New Orleans without a little voodoo!?
You can’t go to NOLA with out going the Cafe Du Monde! The beignets were out of this world and of course I had to bring some coffee home! So delish!
Beer tasting at Crescent City Brewery. All of their beers are brewed in house and are amazing!
My second favorite breakfast on the trip, I didn’t get a picture of my first, I ate it too fast :( , at The Ruby Slipper. The french toast was da bomb!
Some of the best baked oysters I have ever had at the The Royal House and another thing you can’t go to NOLA without getting, a po boy! ;p
We toured St Louis # 1 Cemetery, which is the oldest of the cemeteries, opening in 1789. Some famous people that are buried here are, Homer Plessy (from Plessy v Ferguson), Marie Laveau (the famous voodoo priestess), also Nicholas Cage bought himself a pyramid shaped tomb for his future resting place.
Marie Laveau’s tomb with the voodoo symbol, xxx, all over it. People believe that if you make a wish and you draw the symbol on her tomb your wish will com true. Also, people put offerings, like a coke bottle! Because we all know that’s exactly what a 200 year old voodoo priestess would like!
I even found my name! Not creepy at all…
The infamous Bourbon Street, ya we didn’t spend too much time there!
On our last night, we went to this super cute jazz bar called The Little Gem, which was amazing! I mean look at that hair?! I knew he was going to be awesome even before he sang! ;)
So all in all we had an amazing time! You will see a little more throughout the week within my outfit posts! I hope everyone has a wonderful Monday! ;)
