DIY Holiday Gift Basket

Thank you Neutrogena for sponsoring this post, all opinions are my own

Happy Thursday loves! Can you believe that Christmas is almost here!? When thinking of gift ideas for loved ones during the holiday season one thing I always turn to is a cute gift basket! Today I am putting together a gift basket for my best friend, but this would be great for a sister or even your mom too! Seriously this is such a fun and easy idea! It also adds a personal touch. I love scanning through the store for fun things to throw in the basket! What I usually do to make shopping a little bit easier is start with a theme. With 2020 being a tough year for most I wanted to make the theme a self-care gift basket. I picked up some fuzzy socks, bath bomb, jade roller, scrunchies, face masks, adorable mug, and lastly some great skincare items from Neutrogena at Walmart!

I’ve heard nothing but great things from their Bright Boost line so I grabbed the Bright Boost Gel Cream and Bright Boost Illumination Serum. The Gel Gream has Neoglucosamine in it which helps visibly reduces dullness and dark spots for smooth skin. It also improves look of tone, texture, and fine lines. The Illumination Serum has turmeric extract in it so it helps with dark spots and hyperpigmentation. Plus it is dermatologist-tested and clinically proven to hydrate and nourish your skin!

I can’t wait for her to try them out! What are some of your favorite items to add to a holiday gift basket? I hope you all have a great week ahead! <3

Happy Hump Day ya’ll! Don’t you just love short weeks?! It feels like the week has just begun, yet we are already halfway through! Yay!! So today I am talking beauty and some of my favorite beauty products that I have been loving lately and some I have loved a long time! I am the type of person that finds something that works and usually sticks to it, but sometimes I feel like my skin loves when I switch it up too!

Ultimate Skin Spa Review

ultimate-skin-spa-1

Happy Thursday loves! So one of my goals for 2015 was to get better with my skin care routine, which I definitely think I have had successes so far! Especially since 2014’s routine was washing my face and going to bed! ;) Anyways! So I have finally jumped on the spin brush bandwagon and I am SO glad I did because my skin hasn’t felt better! I am absolutely in love with my new Ultimate Skin Spa System from Vanity Planet! The best part about this system is that it comes with three different spin brushes. A soft brush for a deep clean, a firm brush for exfoliating, and a silicone brush for a gentle clean. Also, it comes in a handy case making it super easy to pack in a bag.

I have been using the Ultimate Skin Spa System twice a week for about a month now and I have really noticed my skin tone is a lot smoother, even, and brighter. Right after using the spin brush my skin feels sooooooo smooth and soft! My husband likes to say I am polishing my face! ;) Butttt what I love most about using the spin brush, is that there are NO extra steps! It just enhances your normal face washing giving you a deep clean! All you have to do is add your face wash to the brush and clean away. Also, want to hear the best part?! Vanity Planet is giving 70% off any of their facial brushes to my readers with code XOSHANNON! That makes the $125 Ultimate Skin Spa only $37.50! Pretty amazing right?! Smoother skin here you come! I hope you all have an awesome Thursday!<3

Osea Review

Osea-beauty-products

TGIF babes!! So excited for the Easter weekend! My niece is walking this year so I can’t wait to see her do her first Easter egg hunt! :) So today I am here to tell you about this AMAZINGGGGGG skin care line called OSEA! All of their products are vegan, organic, gluten free, and American made. They are a family owned business and they started making all of their products in their family kitchen! Pretty darn cool! I received two of their best sellers, the blemish balm, and eyes and lips.

All I have to say is, if you have oily, acne prone skin, get this blemish balm!! I am not kidding you after just a week of using it my skin felt amazing, a few blemishes I had cleared up, and just my over all complexion looked so even! My husband even noticed the difference in my skin after a week and told my how perfect my skin looked! It also has the most refreshing almost minty sent and when you put it on it has a light cooling effect. I use this before I go to bed and then in the morning underneath my makeup. Using it as a primer for my make up has also kept me from getting oily though out the day and really helps my makeup stay put! Which is saying a lot for my oily self in the Florida humidity! No joke this stuff has been my saving grace and I highly recommend it! Also, for it being all organic ingredients the price is very reasonable!

I have been trying to start with the some preventative skin care, especially around my eyes, so the second product I received was their eyes and lips. This is a two for one product that can be used around your eyes and lips to help firm and tone. I can’t really say if it helped minimize wrinkles since I don’t really have any yet, but I really felt like this product helped brighten the skin around my eyes. I have very sensitive skin around my eyes as well and some products burn when I put them on and I had no problem with that what so ever. It goes on very smooth and doesn’t feel greasy at all like some eye creams do. Also, a little goes a super long way so the small bottle will last you forever! All and all I am over the moon that I have found OSEA products and can’t recommend them enough! I can’t wait to order more of their products! I hope everyone has a fabulous weekend and don’t forget to enter the $440 PayPal giveaway! <3

I was gifted these products from OSEA for review, although all opinions are 100% my own
