Happy Tuesday ya’ll! I hope everyone’s week is off to a great start! Ever since I was younger and started shopping for myself, I have always had an obsession with a great pair of jeans! I just have to have them all, dark wash, light wash, black, skinnies, flared, relaxed fit, you name it! Buying a new pair of jeans just gives me a high! So I am super excited I have discovered a new amazing brand of jeans, DSTLD! If you love premium denim but hate the prices, this is the brand for you! DSTLD only sells their jeans on their personal website, so they are able to eliminate the middle man and sell directly to you for a fraction of the cost! DSTLD jeans are even manufactured and washed in the same facilities as J Brand, Citizens, Hudson, etc but all are sold for under $100! Pretty awesome and the fact that they have one of the best fits in my opinion is even better! I am seriously obsessing over this distressed black pair! They have been on serious repeat ever since they showed up on my doorstep! I wanted to go a little edgy with this look so I paired the jeans with a loose striped tank and light chambray shirt to go around my waist. I accessorized with these ah-mazing Elizabeth and James cat eye sunglasses from the Ditto endless program. Ya’ll if you haven’t signed up yet you seriously need to! I have been having so much fun getting a new pair of designer sunglasses every week and getting to try styles I never usually would go for! If you wan’t to read more about the program you can check it out here, but it is basically Netflix for designer sunglasses. $19 a month for unlimited designer sunglasses or $29 for prescription, delivered to your door and switch them out whenever, pretty much a dream program! You can get your first month free to try it out here! I hope you all have a wonderful Tuesday! <3

Floral Crop
Happy Monday loves! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and Mother’s Day! I definitely had a successful and busy weekend! I finally cleaned out my closet ( it was well over due), we worked more on our landscaping, got drinks with friends, and got to spend Mother’s Day with my mom and mother in law. The only bad thing is I feel like I need a weekend from my weekend! Anyways! You all know I am a sucker for a good pair of flared jeans, so when I laid eyes on these high waisted white ones I knew they needed to be mine! I just love how white jeans scream Spring! I paired this look with a floral crop top that I scored on mega sale! I love how the top is quilted to add a little bit of texture and of course the pastel print! To keep this look nice and light, I accessorized with a nude crossbody bag and finished the look with some oversized sunglasses. I hope everyone has a great start to their week! <3

Happy almost Friday babes!! The weekend is so close I can taste it!! Speaking of weekends, how fabulous is the weekend ready palm tree print dress from Hippie Chick Boutique?! It just screams hand me a fruity drink with an umbrella stat!! It is also the most perfect vacation dress! I just love the subtle high low cut and of course the fun back! You know I can’t resist! I accessorized the dress with a funky chain and coin necklace and a simple bangle. I threw on my Sole Society hat to help with the wind, which obviously didn’t help! I swear mother nature is like, “oh hey Shannon’s taking blog pictures today, time to crank out the hurricane force wind!” I finished this look with some cute black and gold wedges I scored at TJMaxx! I hope everyone has an awesome Thursday! <3

Happy Tuesday and Cinco de Mayo babes! We survived another Monday and I am ready to get my Mexican on tonight! One thing I just won’t ever get tired of is a super cute peplum and this powder blue one from Never Naked boutique has got to win the cutest award! I love that this isn’t your ordinary peplum! The fullness is super dramatic and super flattering along with the plunging back makes for the perfect mix of sexy and cute! To add a little funkiness, I threw on a turquoise fringe necklace and a few bangles. Most people when styling a peplum go with skinny jeans, but honestly I think a good flare balances the fullness perfectly! I finished this look with my vintage leather bag and I was ready for brunch (ps peplums are the best when you plan on eating a lot! Perfect tummy camouflage! ;p)! I hope you all have a fabulous Tuesday and I am helping the wonderful Ada of Elegance and Mommyhood celebrate her birthday over on her blog (happy birthday Ada!) and guest posting for the beautiful Elle of Living in Color Style as she prepares for her new bundle of joy, so be sure to check them out! <3

Happy Monday ya’ll! I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! I had a lot of fun celebrating some friends birthdays and losing all my bets during the Kentucky Derby! ;) I always bet on the not so good horses so if they just happen to win I will win big, I swear my antics will work one of these days! Guys I know another maxi… As I told you before I have a problem, but they are just so pretty! And this one! To say I am a little obsessed with this maxi would be a complete understatement! I love a little bit of funkiness and this Tobi maxi just deliverers it! First of all I am in love with the mixed prints and then to add the fun cut outs just puts this maxi over the top! I accessorized with my new Dear Heart Designs custom necklaces, which have my favorite quote from the Wizard of Oz, “You’ve always had the power, my dear” written in cursive down the bar. I have been a Wizard of Oz fanatic since I can remember, I basically grew up in a gingham dress and red sparkly shoes, so this necklace really means a lot to me! Also, the fact they look perfect with any low cut top made me never take it off this weekend! Along with custom jewelry they have so many beautiful pieces with so much inspiration, which I love! I hope everyone has a great start to their week! <3

TGIF and happy May!! Can you believe it is May already?! We are almost half way through the year ya’ll!! Wasn’t it just Christmas yesterday?? Craziness!! Today I am super excited to be teaming up with my absolute favorite local boutique, Sophie & Trey! If you are local to the Orlando area and haven’t heard of them, well you need to get your booties over there! They have a total of four stores, the main one being Sophie & Trey, which has a little bit of everything at amazing prices, the second is 4th & Ocean, which carries more casual, beachy attire, and swimsuits, third is Tria, which carries a little bit more dressy and higher end attire (but yet still affordable), and lastly they just opened Statements, which is all shoes and accessories, basically a dream store! Although, if you don’t live locally they also have an amazing website which combines all of the stores into one place! Anyways, on to the outfit! I feel like I have definitely been having the blues with my wardrobe lately! I just can’t get enough of this fun and funky patterned dress! This dress just hit Sophie & Trey’s site today and you can get it for 10% off with code SHANNON10 until May 5th! Of course it is one of those great dresses that can be dressed up or down and the colors make it perfect for Spring! I accessorized it with my new Dolce Vita bucket bag that converts into a little backpack (isn’t it the cutest?!) and fringy turquoise necklace. I finished this look with peep toe booties. I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend! Also, I am over on Sophie & Trey’s blog today so be sure to check it out! <3

Happy Friday Eve! We are almost to the weekend ya’ll! One thing I have really been loving lately is taking a typical dressy dress and dressing it down. When I saw this fabulous organza and houndstooth dress from Oasap I thought it would be so perfect for a night out! Although, I also thought it would be fun to dress it down for a casual day of shopping. To give the dress more of a casual feel, I paired it with a cropped denim jacket and basic black hat. I accessorized with a long silver necklace and threw on my favorite metallic flats for some pizzazz! The best part, I could go home, lose the denim jacket and hat, throw on some heels and I am ready for the night! I hope everyone has an amazing Thursday! <3

[show_shopthepost_widget id="697550"]One Skirt Two Ways
Happy Tuesday babes! I hope everyone is having a great start to their week! Working in the medical field and not getting dressed up for work, I really get neglected from all of the cute, more professional attire like pencil skirts! So when I received this fabulous polka dotted pencil skirt from Shabby Apple I could not wait to style it, especially since it would be a little more out of my comfort zone. I decided to really challenge myself and style the skirt two different ways. For the first look, I wanted to do more of a work appropriate look but still make it fun and colorful! I decided to do some pattern mixing and pair the polka dots with florals. Ps the key to pattern mixing is to always try to keep a common color, in this case it would be blue, and pair a larger print with a smaller print. I accessorized the first look with a chunky gold necklace and my fabulous new Dolce Vita cobalt bucket bag (that also converts into a backpack, which you will see later this week). For the second look, I made it a little more playful by pairing it with a fitted crop top. To funk the look up a bit, I threw on some neon heels and funky necklace. I hope you all have a wonderful Tuesday! <3

Happy Monday babes!! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! We survived our landscaping weekend, but barely! Word of advice if you need to dig up a palm tree, pay people to do it! Although, seeing my beautiful niece get baptized yesterday and becoming her Godmother definitely made the weekend a lot better! How about this romper ya’ll?! I swear if you type in the perfect Spring romper into Google this should pop up! The crisp white lace is everything! Then the itty bitty pom pom edge is the icing on the cake! This little romper is definitely going to be on repeat all Spring and Summer! I paired the romper with my new studded Sam Edelman sandals I scored at TJMaxx and a classic floppy hat. For accessorizes, I threw on a bunch of dainty layered necklaces and a gold and nude crossbody. I hope everyone has a fabulous start to their week! <3

Happy Thursday loves! Only once day until Friday!! So today is my second look for the re-launch of Dirty Ballerina for Nordstrom! If you missed yesterday’s post you can check it out here. So if ya’ll need the perfect vacation/beach dress, look no further! I love that this dress is business in the front, party in the back! You walk in the room all innocent and cute in your little black dress and then you turn around and boom! Hey girl hey! (sorry I get corny when I am writing under the influence of tiredness) The back is definitely swoon worthy! I accessorized with lots of gold with the my layered t+j designs necklace, joyaii ring, Rocksbox bangle, and favorite gold sandals. I finished this look with a panama hat and mirrored sunnies. Perfect for a warm day by the water! I hope you all have a wonderful Friday Eve! <3
