Plaid Midi

Midi plaid dress, Dolce Vita lace up sandals, Badgley Mischka crossbody

Happy Friday Eve loves! Yay for the weekend being in arms reach!! One thing I think every girl needs in their closet is a good plaid dress! It is such a great statement piece and I think plaid is the one print that will never go out of style! I am absolutely in love with this midi button down version! The colors are not over powering and with the belted waist it gives the perfect shape! Also, the slits gives it that little bit of sexiness without being too much! The awesome price doesn’t hurt either! I paired the dress with these fabulous lace up sandals from Shopbop, which I know will be on major repeat all Spring and Summer! I love that they give this look a little bit funk! Also, they might be one of the comfiest pairs of heels I have ever owned! As for my accessories, I went with a nude crossbody, tan fedora, and simple gold jewelry. I hope everyone has a fabulous rest of their week and weekend! <3

Little Patterned Dress

H&M patterned dress, Dolce Vita suede boots, and Ray Ban round sunglasses

Happy Thursday babes! Can you believe we are almost to the weekend already?! This week flew, but I am definitely not complaining since we leave for Colorado tomorrow! Weeeeeee!!!!! Super excited! Today I am styling one of my new favorite dresses that I got for Christmas! I am seriously obsessed with the retro geometric pattern! The navy and brown combo is too cute too! Although my favorite part is the adorable pleated detailing on the back, it also makes it super flowy too! I paired the dress with my Dolce Vita suede boots and cream knee socks. I accessorized with a chunky gold necklace and tan fedora. I hope you all have a great rest of your week and weekend! I will be off to Colorado tomorrow and will be gone until Wednesday so sorry if I am a little MIA for the majority of next week! Of course I am not going to leave you hanging though! I got some pretty awesome outfits scheduled so be sure to check them out! Enjoy your weekend and be sure to check me out on snapchat, @upbeatsoles, to see what adventures I am getting into! <3

Suede & Sparkle

black suede fringe skirt, h&m leather jacket, steve madden lace up heels

Happy Tuesday ya’ll! I hope everyone’s holiday week is off to a great start! As much as I don’t want Christmas to be over this week I can’t help but start thinking about what I am going to wear for New Years Eve! Of course every New Years Eve outfit needs a bit of sparkle but I always try to think of a look a little bit more outside of the box than your typical sequin dress! I am completely obsessed with this black suede fringe skirt from Never Naked Boutique! Paired with this metallic silver top, I think it makes for the perfect unexpected NYE look! You all know I have a weakness for fringe and I just love how this skirt adds the perfect amount of sass! I accessorized this look with a sliver coin necklace and edged it up with a leather jacket, not that I may be needing it in this ridiculously warm weather! I finished this look with a bold lip and a classic black clutch. I hope you all have an amazing Tuesday! Only 3 days until Christmas! <3

Holiday Home Tour

Rustic Christmas Tree

Happy Wednesday babes! Can you believe we are half way through the week already?! Today I am doing something a little different and doing my first home decor post! After talking about how much I love decorating for the holidays I got multiple requests on posting pictures so I decided to dedicate a post to it! Growing up I used to love helping my mom transform the house for the holidays so when we bought our home three years ago I couldn’t wait to do the same! I have always swung on the more rustic decor side so I love to bring touches of burlap, deep reds, and fresh pine into my holiday decor. It is just the epitome of cozy! Most of my decor I have accumulated over the years but about 60% of it is from Home Goods and Jo-Ann Fabrics! Just a budget friendly tip, if you get a real Christmas tree ask if you can take some of the clippings they are going to throw away! I seriously put the fresh pine all over my house, as you can see! It makes the house smell and look amazing and it is free! One last thing, I would like to brag about my husband real quick and tell you he completely built that bar cart below, even the chicken wire drawers! It is definitely my new favorite piece in the house! Do you all love decorating for the holidays?! I hope you have a wonderful Wednesday and ps sorry this post is picture heavy, you asked for pictures you got them! <3

Suede & Leather

black suede button up skirt, Forever 21 leather jacket, Edgy Fall outfit

Happy Friday Eve loves! I swear I blinked and this week is almost over! I am so ready for the weekend though! We are also supposed to get a little bit of a cool down this weekend, which I am more than ready for! So remember when I warned you my button down skirt obsession was getting out of hand? Ya I wasn’t kidding! Although how could I resist this black suede mini?! I knew it would be the perfect pair for this black and gold striped crop top I scored on sale while in Nashville! I have a weakness for black and gold so I about pounced on this top when I saw it! It is hard to tell in the pictures but it has the prettiest gold threading! I wanted to add a little edge to this look so I threw on a classic leather jacket and a layered necklace. I finished this look with a black and brown ankle bootie, which I have been wearing on repeat! I am so sad they are sold out already, but I linked two super similar ones below! They seriously go with everything!! I hope you all have a great rest of your week and weekend! <3

Wrapped in Plaid

fall plaid shirt and burgundy over the knee boots

Happy Tuesday loves! I hope everyone is having a great start to their week! First off, I am so sorry about my comment section being crazy yesterday! Apparently my Disqus locked me out or decided to delete my account randomly and their customer service is absolutely horrible and have yet to get back to me, hence why I had to disable it for the time being… Super annoying! But I just want to thank all of you that still emailed me and tweeted me a happy blogiversary and birthday despite my technical difficulties! Ya’ll are the best! So today I am going full blown fall even though I may have sweat a little in this heat, but I couldn’t wait any longer to blog these amazing boots and plaid top! How fabulous is this high low, wrap top from Trunk Up?! I am in love with the navy and burgundy combo and I can’t get enough of the fit! It will definitely be on repeat this fall! It is also the perfect pair with my new burgundy over the knee boots! These bad boys are under $100, real suede, and probably the most comfy boots I own! I am also digging the wedge which makes them a little different than your typical OTK boot! For my accessories I threw on my new Daniel Wellington watch that I have not taken off since it came in the mail! I actually ended up getting the men’s watch so it would be a little more oversized and I am in love the blue metallic hands! Super cute! You can also get 15% off with code DWupbeatsoles! I hope you all have a great Tuesday! <3

Overallin’

Hollister denim overalls and brown booties

Happy Tuesday loves! I hope everyone’s week is off to an awesome start! Sooooooo Florida has fall no where in it’s vocabulary these past few weeks! I am talking it has been in the 90s and humid here! It has really been putting a damper on my fall vibes! So basically I have been living in summer clothes and just adding booties to make myself feel better, hence the tank and mini skirt I am rocking today! I mean does it get any cuter than this denim button down mini in overall form?! I think not! You know I can’t resist anything 70’s inspired so as soon as I laid eyes on this bad boy, I had to have it! Can you believe I found it at Hollister too?! They have really been stepping up their game lately! I also found this fab high neck ribbed tank there too! I love that once it starts to cool down (if it ever does..) it will be perfect to layer under a light jacket or opened flannel. To finish off this look I threw on my peep toe booties just to add in some fall, but yet still staying cool! I hope everyone has an awesome Tuesday! <3

Fall Florals

floral-jumpsuit-3

Happy Tuesday babes! I hope everyone’s week is off to a great start! One spring trend I love to bring into fall is florals! The best way to wear florals in fall is to go for a darker and bold print! I am absolutely obsessing over this dark floral jumpsuit from Girls on Film! The print is gorgeous with the dark blues, blacks, and pops of light pink! You definitely won’t be missed walking into a room! ;) Also the fun little shoulder cut outs are super cute! I wanted to dress the jumpsuit up a bit so I paired it with a layered gold necklace and a bunch of bracelets! I finished this look with my Rebecca Minkoff crossbody, that matches a little too perfectly! I hope you all have a fabulous Tuesday! <3

Tailored Florals

Little Mistress Floral Jumpsuit

Happy Tuesday and first day of September babes! I hope everyone is having a great start to their week! Ours down here in Florida has been pretty rainy, but I guess it is better than the tropical storm we were anticipating on getting! Yes ya’ll, another jumpsuit! Although, I absolutely love this one because it is so different and unique compared to all the other jumpsuits in my closet! I am obsessed with the tailored fit and of course the gorgeous embroidered floral detailing! The jumpsuit also comes with a Navy and gold belt to go around the waist, but I was kind of digging this look with out it so it showed off the embroidery better. I kept the accessories super simple by adding a dainty gold necklace and bangles. I finished this look with a bold coral heel to really play up the coral in the detailing on the jumpsuit. I hope everyone has an awesome Tuesday! <3
