Happy Monday babes! Ugh back to reality! Although it does feel good to be back! We definitely had a blast in Nashville and I can’t wait to tell you all about it! Until then I have been itching to give you a new outfit post! I thought this super fun peplum romper would be perfect to get things rolling again! I wore this out one night while in Nashville and I am obsessed with how unique it is! I love the over exaggerated peplum that almost makes it look like a dress but then it gives the peek of the shorts underneath on the one side! Super cute! Also, the bold blue and white florals are too pretty! I went with a nude sandal to neutralize the print a little and I accessorized with gold bangles and a crossbody bag. I hope you all have a wonderful Monday and great start to your week! <3

Happy Tuesday loves! I hope you are enjoying your week so far! So today marks three amazing years to my wonderful husband, Griffin and after muchhhhhhhhh convincing I finally got him to come out from behind the camera and do a special post with me for our anniversary! Pretty studly right?! I need to convince him to make an appearance more often! ;) I will spare the mushy details on how he’s the most amazing husband ever and my blog wouldn’t be possible with out him and all that jazz and go straight to the outfits! ;) Can we talk about this to die for water color maxi dress?! I have been searching high and low for the perfect anniversary dress and right when I set eyes on it I knew this was it! I love that it is sexy without being over the top and if I threw on sandals it could totally turn into the perfect casual Summer maxi! I kept the accessories super simple to exaggerate the neckline by just adding some gold bangles. As for Griffin, he went with a dressed up casual look by combining a blazer with jeans, which I cannot get enough of that look! He did some subtle pattern mixing by pairing his gingham shirt and striped socks, aren’t you proud of him?! He finished his look with brown accessories. I hope everyone has an amazing Tuesday and don’t forget to follow us in Nashville on Instagram and snapchat (@upbeatsoles)! <3

Hi there y’all! My name is Shaheen Khan and I am so excited to be here guest posting for the adorable Shannon! I am the writer behind the Fashion & Food blog Lows to Luxe and am excited to talk boho vibes today!
Lately, I’ve been drawn to festival inspired looks probably because Lollapalooza was headed to Chicago. I rounded up a few of my most recent outfits that highlight some fun new trends. Off the shoulder looks are perfect for summer while others like the mustard lace dress I wore to the actual festival was perfect to channel a 70’s vibe and can totally be worn into the fall with boots and a coat. Little details like lace or some printed stitching can make such a difference and shift dresses are perfect to carry you through every season!
Hope you guys enjoyed a peek into my style and thanks so much for having me Shannon!

Bold Florals
Happy Friday Eve babes!! The weekend is so close I can taste it!! So we all know about my obsession with jumpsuits and rompers, but I have also been secretly obsessing over the new culotte trend! So when I find a culotte jumpsuit you know it will be in my closet immediately! I actually tried on this jumpsuit in blue months ago and passed on it and couldn’t stop thinking about it later! Then I happen to stumble into Forever 21 over the weekend and found this gorgeous coral version on the sale rack for $13! I bet you can imagine my excitement! I cannot get enough of this color, and the over exaggerated floral pattern is amazingness! I wanted to dress the jumpsuit up so I paired it with my new black lace up heels and a classic envelope clutch. I accessorized with layered necklaces and gold bracelets. I hope everyone has a great rest of their week and weekend! I will be a little MIA next week since we will be in Nashville for Griffin and I’s anniversary, but I have a lot of fun posts and guest posts lined up so be sure to check them out! Also, don’t forget to follow me on Instagram (@upbeatsoles) to see what we are up to (be prepared for a lot of food pictures ;))! See ya’ll next Monday! <3

Happy Tuesday babes! I hope everyone has been starting their new week off right! So we have been a little over due for a romper, don’t ya think?! I got so many complements on this romper in my DC pictures I decided to do a full post on it, but of course it is sold out now! :( Don’t worry, I linked the super cute jumpsuit version and some other similar ones! I have honestly been wearing this romper non-stop! I love that it is so versatile and can be easily dressed up or down. For instance, when I wore it for exploring DC I paired it with some camo sandals to keep it comfy and casual, but today I decided to dress it up a little with some chunky heeled sandals. I accessorized with my favorite gold bracelets and fun wood Jord watch. I finished this look with a classic tan and gold crossbody bag. I hope you all have a wonderful Tuesday! <3

Happy Thursday babes! The weekend is getting so close!! So I have been on the hunt for the perfect pair of distressed boyfriend jeans for probably almost two years now, and ya’ll I have finally found them! Oh and guess what!? I scored these babies for $10!! Boom! I couldn’t even contain my excitement! Best part, they are still on sale too! I wanted to give this look a tomboy chic vibe so I paired it with a tan moto vest that I also scored on sale recently! I was so excited when I laid eyes on this vest because I knew it would transition perfectly into Fall! I also love that it isn’t leather like your typical moto vest so it is great for every season! As for my accessories, I threw on my new Jord watch, which I cannot get enough of! I love that it is a little chunkier than the typical watch that I go for so it gives off more of an edgier vibe, which you all know I love! Also, the two tone wood is so unique! Definitely a statement watch, for sure! I haven’t been able to get enough of mirrored sunglasses if you haven’t noticed! I just feel like they take any outfit to the next level and I am obsessing over these Elizabeth & James pair I got from the Ditto Endless program! They are going to be hard to exachange for a new pair, but I am sure I will get over it when the next ones come! ;) If you want endless designer sunglasses sent to your door as well, be sure to use code ‘upbeatsoles’ to get your first month free! I hope everyone has an amazing Thursday! <3

Happy Monday babes! I hope everyone had an amazing fourth of July weekend! I am still in DC so sorry if I am MIA today, but I will be catching up with all of you tomorrow and I can’t wait to tell you all about my trip! Ok so my maxi obsession continues and you guys this skirt is seriously where it’s at! Probably the most gorgeous maxi skirt I have ever laid my eyes on! The flowiness is so dreamy and you can’t tell by the pictures but the chiffon has a light shimmer to it! So so pretty! It is also fully lined! I honestly can’t stand the half lined maxis these days! I wanted to make this look nice and Summery so I paired it with a blush crop top and a fun fedora. I accessorized with this adorable triangle necklace from Rocksbox (don’t forget you can get your first month free with shannonxoxo) and some heeled gladiator sandals to dress it up a tad. I hope everyone has a fabulous Monday! <3

Happy Monday loves! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! I finally got a little time to relax which was nice! This is the first weekend in months we actually stayed in town so it was mostly spent catching up on house work and getting ahead on blogging before we leave for DC! I swear once we get back from our trip I am doing nothing but laying on the couch for a few days! ;) Anyways! Today’s look is a little different for me, but I am totally digging it! This mini dress is actually a slip/shapewear dress by Jewel Toned and is friggin’ amazing ya’ll! This isn’t your average shapewear, it has a built in bra, removable straps, and the fabric is super thick so you can actually wear undies underneath and it hides the lines! I paired this little mini with a lace open maxi cardigan, which is my new obsession! I love how unique it is and I can’t wait to pair with come jean shorts for more of a casual feel! I accessorized with lots of layered necklaces and my favorite black hat. I threw on some chunky heeled peep toe booties to add a little bit of edge. I hope you all have a great start to your week! <3

Happy Thursday babes! Can you believe it’s already almost the weekend already?! This week flew! First off, I want to apologize for the grainy pictures today. We took them right before a massive storm and it was seriously almost pitch black out so we had to crank up the ISO like whoa! And it was lightening the entire time so we took them in like 5 minutes haha! That’s what I get for waiting until the last minute to take pictures! Stupid Florida Summer storms! Anyways, can we talk about this perfect boho fabulous Summer dress?! This will definitely be on repeat for sure! The pictures don’t do it justice but the front detailing is all embroidered and beaded! So gorgeous! This was my first time ordering from Chicwish and I was really impressed with the quality! Just a heads up this dress runs a little small so I recommend sizing up! To keep this look nice and casual I paired the dress with my new gold gladiator sandals. Yes I finally took the plunge and purchased them and to say I am obsessed is definitely an understatement! I finished this look with a nude crossbody and gold jewelry. I hope everyone has a wonderful rest of the week and weekend! Ps I am being featured over on Spotlight Weekly so be sure to check it out! <3
