Today I am officially half way through my pregnancy and I cannot believe it! They say your second pregnancy goes by quick and they weren’t kidding! Today I am wearing the absolute cutest orange summer dress! It’s non maternity and under $25! The print is too cute and I just love the fun sleeves! I paired it with my favorite metallic espadrilles and accessorized with layered necklaces and sunglasses. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend! <3
Classic
Happy Tuesday loves! I hope you all had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend! We had spent a lot of time playing by the pool and eating all the yummy food! We ventured out to lunch yesterday with my parents and I wore this breezy button down belted dress. Belted dresses are my best friend while pregnant and I love that this one is non maternity so I can wear it after the baby as well. Also it’s only $20!! I wanted to keep things casual so I paired it with some brown slide sandals and accessorized with layered necklaces and sunnies. I hope you guys have a wonderful week ahead! <3
Summer Accesories
Happy Thursday ya’ll! I can’t believe it is almost Memorial Day weekend! I am so ready for the long weekend! Also I cannot believe I will be 20 weeks next week! I will officially be half way through my pregnancy and I cannot believe it! With Memorial Day weekend this weekend all things summer have been on my mind, especially accessories! You all know I love a good hat and summer hats are a go to of mine! I just ordered this one for our upcoming vacation in a little over a week and I am in love! It will be perfect for the beach! These sunglasses are so chic and would you believe they are under $4?! Like what!? The next hat on my list to get has got to be this one. I love the leather trim and it would go with everything! You know I love a good round sunny and these mirrored ones are too cute for summer! I hope you all have a wonderful Memorial Day weekend! <3
Creamsicle
Happy Monday babes! I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! Our’s was pretty uneventful which was kind of nice for a change, but it also made it go by way too fast! I am in full on summer mode lately with all this hot weather (and it’s only getting hotter this week) so flowy dresses have been my go to (if you haven’t noticed yet ha!)! I am usually not super drawn to bright colors but this orange flowy dress I scored from H&M for $15 is the cutest! I love that it’s more of a creamy orange and the fit is perfect for my growing bump! I paired it with my favorite metallic sandals to dress it up a tad and threw on a hat to give this look a super summery feel! I hope you all have a wonderful start to your week! <3
Leopard Overload
Happy Tuesday! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and are having a great start to your week! Ya’ll I have the prettiest dress for you today that I scored recently from H&M! I am always on the hunt for non-maternity items that can work as maternity and this dress is so good! You all know I love a good leopard print and this dress can easily be dressed up or down! I dressed it up a bit with some lace up block heels, but would also look so cute with some flat slide sandals! I kept the accessories simple by throwing on a crossbody bag and layered necklaces. I hope you all have a great Tuesday! <3
Maternity Swimsuits under $50
Happy Friday eve ya’ll! We are almost to the weekend! With the weather heating up and my bump getting bigger I’ve been in desperate need to pull the trigger on some maternity swimwear! With my pregnancy last time being more towards the fall and winter I never bought any maternity swimsuits so I have been on the hunt to find some affordable ones for summer! Honestly I hate investing in maternity wear just because I will only be wearing it for a short amount of time so these suits are perfect! Like this adorable leopard and ruffle suit! It’s so adorable and only $18!!! If you love a good palm print this one is so fun and under $35! If you want to flaunt the bump a little more this one is so chic and only $17! I hope you all have a great weekend! <3
Mother’s Day
Happy Tuesday loves! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and Mother’s Day to all the mamas! We had a wonderful weekend celebrating and I’m not sure how I got so lucky to be this little guy’s mama and another little one on the way! Motherhood is definitely not easy but it’s so rewarding and the amount of love that comes with it is indescribable! We took our annual Mother’s Day flower field pictures and I can’t believe we’ll be adding another little one to them next year! Sawyer is in a I hate pictures phase but he actually did pretty good with these haha! I think he was excited by all the flowers! I just can’t get enough of this sweet face! I hope you all have a great start to your week! <3
1st Trimester Bumpdate
Happy Thursday! This week flew by and I cannot believe we are almost to the weekend! I am excited to share with you all my first trimester bump date! Let me just start by saying this pregnancy has been completely 180, opposite than Sawyer’s! Sawyer’s pregnancy was a unicorn pregnancy and besides some food aversions I felt amazing up until I delivered! Well Baby J #2 is already being a stinker haha! Around about 5 weeks I got hit with some pretty bad nausea that was on and off all day every day. I was lucky that I never actually threw up though (yet I was close a few times)! Also I got hit with extreme exhaustion! I don’t think I have ever been more tired in my life. Which having a toddler and being extremely tired all the time was most definitely a struggle! I keep wishing my pregnancies could have been the other way around haha! Like why couldn’t my tough pregnancy be when I was childless?!!! Some things that have helped with my nausea was just never letting my stomach go empty. If I got hungry the nausea got intense.
This time around I didn’t really get too many aversions, except for coffee. The smell of coffee in the morning definitely wanted to make me gag, but I have been drinking it again a little here and there. Also no cravings really. Just if something sounds good I need to have it haha but nothing super specific. Another horrible symptom have been headaches! I was getting one almost every 3-4 days mainly at night but luckily they have subsided but not completely. I usually get headaches around that time of the month so when I was pregnant with Sawyer I had 0 headaches and it was amazing! I was hoping it would be the same, but of course I didn’t get that lucky yet again.
As for some a good symptoms, my skin has been amazing! I broke out so bad with Sawyer so it has been nice to actually have one good thing come from this pregnancy so far (besides the baby being healthy!)! I honestly don’t think I have gotten a pimple since I found out I was pregnant, which is crazy for my acne prone skin!
How I am feeling now at 16 weeks (today!)? The nausea is just now FINALLY starting to subside! I still will get some waves here and there but not too bad. I also am starting to get a little energy back, but definitely still tired! I am just waiting for that second trimester energy everyone keeps talking about haha! I am just hoping the hard part is now behind me and everything will be a lot smoother from here on out! I always joked after Sawyer’s pregnancy I don’t think I’ll get that lucky twice to have such an easy pregnancy and I guess I was right haha! Although this one has been rough on me I wouldn’t change it for the world since I know my body is doing amazing things in creating our perfect little baby that we are so excited to meet come October! Mama’s of multiple babies, were your pregnancies different or similar?! I would love to know! I hope you all have a great weekend! <3
Spring Boho
Happy Monday babes! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! We had a fun time child free getting together for a friends birthday. Getting some kid free time was way over due for us haha! Today I am styling probably my new go to dress for spring! I am so in love with this little boho dress! The pattern is so pretty and I love the bell sleeves! Also the draw string waist makes it perfect for maternity! I paired the dress with some of my favorite booties and hat, then finished the look with some layered necklaces. I hope you all have a great start to your week! <3
Minty
Happy Friday eve ya’ll! I cannot believe the weekend is almost here! So the spring maxis continue in this fabulous minty number! I am just obsessed with the color scheme and pattern of this dress! It’s also perfect for maternity or non maternity. I kept things super casual by pairing the dress with some flat studded slide sandals and threw on my new straw hat that I scored during the Shopbop sale. I finished the look with some layered necklaces and sunnies. I hope you all have a fabulous weekend! <3
